Rob graduated from Buffalo State College in 1988 with a Bachelor's Degree in broadcast journalism, a member of the Broadcast Honors Society, of which he served as president.
After graduating, Rob began his career at WFYF-50 in Watertown, where he was a weekend sports anchor/reporter.
On Labor Day, 1989, Rob began work at 7News as weekend sports anchor and since his inception, has won several New York State Broadcaster Association and Syracuse Press Club awards.
Rob enjoys playing softball and basketball for the 7News No Stars and also loves to golf.
A big fan of the Syracuse Orange, the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills, Rob's life is sports and his four children: John, Kristen, Robbie and Danielle.
