Bob Santamoor is a member of the event's executive committee. He says local organizations, business and families set up light displays around the beach and campground.

Admission is free to the event, which runs December 15 to 23. Donations of cash or nonperishable food will be accepted.
It's open 5 to 8 p.m. on school nights and from 5 until 9 p.m. on the other nights.
The beach and campground are on State Route 37 between Ogdensburg and Waddington.
The event has donated about $70,000 and tons of food to local food pantries over the past seven years. This year, money and food will be shared among 15 area pantries.
