A 23 year old Potsdam man has taken a plea deal in connection with the stabbing of a man under a bridge.

He appeared Thursday in St. Lawrence County Court, where he pleaded guilty to the assault charge.

Snyder attacked Ronald Randall with a switchblade knife on April 28, 2017 under the Sandstone Drive bridge.

In return for his guilty plea, Snyder was offered a sentence of three years in prison and three years post release supervision.

His sentencing is scheduled for May 14.
