Two Gouverneur residents are accused of possessing drugs in the presence of children.
Village police arrested 22 year old Ryan Hughes and 34 year old Jessica Reynolds at 223 East Main Street on May 4.
Police said they found the two in possession of methamphetamine and the prescription drug Concerta.
According to police, three children, ages 9 through 16, had easy access to the drugs.
Hughes and Reynolds were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
They were issued tickets to appear in Gouverneur Town Court. Child protective services were notified.
