A packed house in Oxbow Sunday as folks gathered for the Annual Mother's Day Bullhead Dinner.
The decades old tradition put on by the Oxbow Volunteer Fire Department encourages families to come out and spend Mother's Day together. Organizers say the nice weather played it's part in bringing the community together.
Eric King, Vice President, Oxbow Volunteer Fire Co. "It's nice to see your neighbors out, especially after a long winter like we had. Really great to see everyone out after the hard winter and see some neighbors you haven't seen in a couple months. It's nice to catch up with your neighbors."
Organizers added the Mother's Day Bullhead Dinner has become a tradition for many North Country families.
Also, celebrating Mother's Day in Adams. Sunday morning folks enjoyed a breakfast buffet at the Sixtown House on Church Street in Adams.
