Massena Rescue Radiothon Coming Up Sunday

The 44th Annual Massena Rescue Radiothon is coming up this Sunday.

Squad members Norm Worden and Geoff Smythe appeared on 7 News at Noon on Thursday to talk about the event. Click on the picture to watch their interview.

The event begins Sunday at 10 a.m. at the the rescue squad station at 341 East Orvis Street in Massena and concludes at 4 p.m.

All the fun will be broadcast on 1340 WMSA AM.

There will be a complimentary meal, fun and games with prizes.

Dave Romie from WMSA will be in a dunk tank and has a challenge to all athletes to try to dunk him. For a $10 donation, people get unlimited attempts to dunk him until he gets wet.

There will be a silent auction with many sports related items to bid on. Proceeds from the event go to the rescue squad.
