The annual Strawberry Festival kicked off Friday in Adams.
People are took advantage of the nice weather to enjoy the strawberry desserts, family activities, and craft and vendor market.
Volunteer Mary Damianenko says the event is about spending time with the community.
"No, it's not just about the strawberries, it's about coming to see me and I'll talk to you, or coming to see all the vendors and they will talk to you," she said. "Just come and have a good time with us."
The Strawberry Festival runs until 7 p.m. Friday and from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sixtown Meeting House on East Church Street in Adams.
