It's a community event many people look forward to.
Next week is the annual Concert in the Park with the Orchestra of Northern New York.
It's in Watertown's Thompson Park on Tuesday, July 3.
Carl McLaughlin chairs the Watertown Noon Rotary's concert committee. He and Emily Sprague, chair of the orchestra's Watertown advisory council, were on 7 News This Morning to promote the event.
You can see their interview in the video.
The Double Barrel Blues Band plays at 5 p.m. and the orchestra takes the stage at 8 p.m.
Instead of its usual classical fare, the orchestra presents movie classics with "American Pops and the Silver Screen."
The concert, as usual, ends with the "1812 Overture," accompanied by howitzers.
An enhanced fireworks display follows the concert.
It's all free to attend.
7 News anchor Makenzie Piatt is this year's emcee.
