Funeral services for Gail M. Moquin, 72, of Ogdensburg, NY will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 13 at Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Gail passed away Sunday morning (July 1) at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. At her request, there will be no visitation prior to the funeral service.

Gail is survived by her sisters Joan Soper of Brier Hill, Debra Moquin of Ogdensburg and Tina Leafe of Massena; brothers Bruce Moquin of California, Terry Moquin of Morristown, Tim Moquin of Hammond, and Alan Nicholson of California, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by two brothers Richard and Wayne Moquin, and a sister Cynthia Harvey.

Gail Mary Moquin was born on November 18, 1945 in Potsdam NY, a daughter of the late Leonard Moquin and Leona Burns. She graduated from Morristown Central School then moved to Syracuse, California, and Oregon where she worked and lived for many years. During her time at Epson, she had the opportunity to travel to and live in Japan for a period of time. After retiring in 2007, she moved to Maine and eventually back to St. Lawrence County to live close to family.

She was a member of the Women of the North. She enjoyed woodworking, making canes and walking sticks for friends and family, making bird feeders, gardening, playing cards with her siblings, painting, taking trips on her Spyder, helping friends with carpentry projects, going to the casino, and spending time with her friends and family.

Gail enjoyed life, she was always busy working on a new art or home renovation project. She had a special place in her heart for animals, and you could always count on her to be straightforward.
