Three Harrisville teens did thousands of dollars in damage to a home and church, according to a statement Wednesday night from the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.
The arrest of the three had been previously reported; Wednesday's statement puts a dollar figure to the damage the teens allegedly did. According to a sheriff's investigator, the trio did $5000 in damage to property owned by David Creech. They also caused about $4,000 in damage to St. Francis Solanus Church.
One 17 year old and a 15 year old have been charged with burglary, 2nd degree, a felony; burglary, 3rd degree, a felony; criminal mischief, 2nd degree, a felony; The other 17 year old was charged with burglary 2nd and one count of petit larceny.
The 17 year old were released to their parents; the 15 year old was given an appearance ticket.
