Second Man Charged In Brasher Pellet Gun Shooting

A second man has been arrested in connection with the pellet gun shooting of a woman in the town of Brasher.

Officials say 27 year old Alex Danboise of Massena is being held in the St. Lawrence County Jail on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.

He's charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

7 News had been told that a woman was shot in the face with a pellet gun Monday. She was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Police said she was treated there and later released.

It happened around 2 p.m. inside a trailer home at 229 County Route 53, also known as the Brasher-Helena Road.

Earlier in the week, state police arrested 23 year old Jordan Wheeler of Massena. He was charged with third-degree assault.

He was arraigned in Brasher town court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail on $1,000 bail.
