ATV Operator 'Stable' After Weekend Accident

The operator of an all-terrain vehicle was in stable condition at SUNY Upstate Hospital in Syracuse after a weekend accident in St. Lawrence County.

Brianna Snow, 25, of Webster, NY, was thrown from the ATV she was operating on the Sweet Pond Hunting Club's land in the Town of Russell late Saturday afternoon, St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies said in a statement.

Deputies described the accident as a 'rollover' in which the ATV went off the trail and down an embankment. Snow was airlifted to Syracuse.

Her passenger, Ashley Sparacino, 25, of Pulaski,was also thrown from the ATV and ended up at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.

Neither person was wearing a helmet, deputies said

Hermon Rescue and Star Lake Rescue assisted at the scene.
