Christopher Swem was sentenced last week to to 24 years to life for the murder of 30 year old Shawndell Anderson. He smiled as he left the Jefferson County Courthouse:

Can't wait till he shows his pretty little smile in the prison. Hope someone wipes it off on day one!

Watertown City School District's superintendent says the first day with a new bus company went extremely well. First Student officially took over from Freeman Bus in July:

I have seen numerous parents post about the bus rides for their children the first day and they're not very good.
