Rain or shine, in Alex Bay, people were celebrating with beer and wine.
On Saturday the Thousand Islands Winery's held it's 15th annual Oktoberfest.
The winery brought in four New York breweries and offered its signature wine. Authentic German food was offered, too.
And plenty of music for everyone to enjoy and dance to.
However, Thousand Islands Winery owner, Steve Conaway, said it's something else that makes the Oktoberfest so successful.
"The people. Always the people. We have a lot of folks dress up with dirndls and German Bavarian hats and it's just a lot of fun with the people," said Conaway.
The winery's Oktoberfest also includes a farmer's market, hayrides, and a grape stomping competition.
