A Watertown doctor's office was forced to close Wednesday afternoon after a car slammed into the front of the building.
It happened in an office building plaza on the 500 block of Washington Street.
The elderly driver told 7 News his foot slipped off the brake.
The front of the building was pushed in about a foot and city codes ordered the office closed.
Podiatrist Dr. Andrew Majak said one of his staff members was sitting right inside the point of impact, but fortunately no one was hurt.
"A lot of damage and I don't know the estimated time until that's repaired. So it looks like we're not going to be open until that's fixed," said Dr. Majak.
Dr. Majak said he's glad no one was hurt and he'll keep his patients updated about the status of the office.
