Weather Alerts Still In EffectPosted: Updated:
Snow is still falling across parts of the north country. Weather alerts end this evening for some and continue through Wednesday for others.
Forecasters expect totals of 3 to 7 inches by the time a winter weather advisory ends at 7 p.m. Tuesday for southeastern St. Lawrence County.
There could be a foot or more of snow across higher elevations of the Tug Hill by the time an advisory ends for Jefferson and Lewis counties at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Other places could see from 4 to 8 inches.
Places outside the advisories could see another 1 to 3 inches.
Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the mid- to upper-30s.
That's where highs will stay for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There's a small chance of snow on Thursday and Friday and it will be mostly cloudy on Saturday.
Rain and highs in the mid-40s are expected for Sunday. Rain and snow and highs in the upper-30s are on tap for Monday.
