A Watertown man is accused of grabbing the steering wheel and causing a crash during a domestic dispute in a vehicle.
Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say 35 year old Joshua Roshia was allegedly violating an order of protection when he allegedly grabbed her by the neck and then grabbed the wheel.
The vehicle went off the highway and into a ditch. No one was injured.
Deputies say it happened at a u-turn area on Interstate 81 in the town of Adams.
Roshia was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and first-degree criminal contempt.
He was arraigned in Watertown town court and jailed on $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.
The victim, who was driving, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
