The village of Sackets Harbor is transforming into Whooville.

Event organizers are decorating for the 2nd annual Whooville in the Harbor.

This Saturday and next, Main Street becomes the village from Dr. Suess' 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas,' complete with characters walking around, a parade, and singing around the tree.

Businesses and restaurants are also selling grinch themed items. Event organizers say this year is bigger and better than last.

"We've added another horse and wagon ride, we have the hair-do hair salon in 2 different places this year along with face painting. So things are spread out more to allow people to get in and get out a little more quickly. We've added more games, more crafts just more activities for kids and families to do" said Marsha Maxon, co-chair of the Whooville committee.

On Saturday, the YMCA is putting on a Grinch 1K run at 10 a.m.
