The nation says goodbye to former President George H.W. Bush later today.
Tuesday was another day of public mourning for the 41st president, who died late Friday night at the age of 94.
President Bush's body lies in state at the Capitol rotunda in Washington. President Trump has designated today, Wednesday, a national day of mourning.
The president met with the bush family Tuesday. Government offices are closed today, there is no mail delivery and the stock market is closed.
The memorial service for George H.W. Bush starts at 11 a.m. at the National Cathedral. CBS coverage of the day's events starts at 9:45 a.m. and will last until at least 1:30 p.m. this afternoon.
