An Akwesasne woman is accused of taking several televisions and other items from a Malone department store and leading state police on at least two pursuits.

Troopers say 34 year old Olivia Terrance allegedly took seven televisions from Malone's Walmart in four separate incidents in November and December.

The first pursuit was at almost midnight on December 10 on County Route 51 in the town of Malone. Police said they ended the pursuit after Terrance refused to stop and were unable to locate her later.

The second pursuit, on December 31, was after Terrance allegedly stole two of the TVs. The pursuit started on State Route 37 in the town of Westville and reached speeds over 100 miles per hour. Troopers say they could see the TVs sticking out of the trunk.

Troopers say Terrance allegedly hit two patrol cars on purpose. The pursuit ended when she crossed into Canada.

Akwesasne police picked up Terrance in Snye, Quebec and turned her over to state police.

She was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, DWI, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, petit larceny, unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlicensed operation, and several traffic offenses.

Terrance was arraigned in Malone town court and remanded to Franklin County jail on $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond.
