The Thousand Islands boys' basketball team is bouncing back after a slow start to the season. And they hope the momentum will carry them through the rest of the season.
The Vikings are 5-6 overall and 4-5 in the Frontier League.
Now, a three-game winning streak has the team thinking of better days ahead.
With a fairly young roster, Coach Scott Lalonde wasn't surprised by the slow start.
"We knew we were going to struggle early, but they're starting to get it, they're starting to get on the little things," Lalonde said, "and we're starting to play a heck of a lot better."
You can hear more from the coach in the video, along with players Joey Melfi, Connor Mackay, and Tyler Smith.
