A Fort Covington man is in Franklin County jail after he allegedly fired a rifle inside his home.

State police say there were three other people in 65 year old Roy Barrick Jr.'s Pike Street home when he fired the shot, including a 4 year old child.

Barrick was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, and third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

He was arraigned in Malone town court and jailed on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
