Colleen R. O’Donnell, 79, of Massena

Massena: Colleen R. O’Donnell, age 79, passed away on Thursday afternoon, January 17, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena. Friends and family may be received on January 22, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to the time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. at Phillips Memorial Home, Massena with Rev. Tojo Chacko officiating. Interment will be held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Chateaugay, NY at the convenience of the family.

Connie as she was fondly known by, was born on January 16, 1940 in Norfolk, NY the daughter of Emery and Ruth (Willkinson) Scott.  Connie enjoyed bowling and driving at the age of 60 and especially enjoyed time spent with her family and great grandchildren.

On October 18, 1958 she married Rodney T. O’Donnell at St. Patrick’s Church in Chateaugay. Mr. O’Donnell predeceased her on November 17, 2001. Together she and her husband owned and operated O’Donnell’s Taxidermist on Dennison Rd.

Connie is survived by her son Thomas R. and wife Candy and her daughter Roxana M. O’Donnell both of Massena, a grandson Thomas P. “T.J.” O’Donnell and fiancée Allison Campbell of Massena, NY and granddaughter Gabrielle O’Donnell and companion Corey Love of Brasher Falls, NY, and her great-grandchildren Kimber A. O’Donnell of Massena and Collin TD Love of Brasher Falls, NY.  Connie is also survived by her brother Frankie Scott and wife Elaine of Fort Jackson, NY along with several nieces and nephews.

Connie was predeceased by her sister Beulah Allen, and brothers Milton and Earl Scott.
