Church To Hold Clothing Drive For Fire Victims

Posted: Updated:

A clothing drive will happen Saturday for 49 Potsdam people, who forced from their homes after a fire at Lawrence Avenue Apartments last weekend.

A Facebook post for the Potsdam First Presbyterian Church says many of the victims lost everything and will live in hotels for the next couple of months.

They have mini fridges and a microwave for food preparation, so convenience foods and restaurant gift cards are good donations, they say.

They also hope to collect warm winter clothes for adults and children, including jackets, boots, mittens and hats.
