As you take care of the snow on the ground, you may want to glance up at your roof.
Temperatures Monday will be in the 40s and if you have a few feet of snow on your roof, officials advise you take care of it.
"Some areas of the county got between 5 and 6 feet of snow. It wasn't really heavy snow, but when you add water to it, it'll condense and become a lot heavier," said Joe Plummer, director of the Jefferson County Office of Fire and Emergency Management
The consequence is a roof collapsing. Plummer says call a professional to help you.
