A 31 year old Ogdensburg man is accused of threatening a state trooper with a knife before being tased.

State Police charged Michael Larock with menacing a police officer, fourth-degree grand larceny, and resisting arrest.

Larock allegedly stole two generators from Gander Outdoors, located in the Salmon Run Mall in the town of Watertown.

When police tried to arrest him on January 24, Larock allegedly threatened a trooper with a folding knife. A taser was used to take him into custody.

Larock was arraigned in Pamelia Town Court and sent to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
