2 Charged Following Watertown Drug RaidPosted: Updated:
Two people were charged with drug possession and meth-making following a raid at a Watertown apartment Tuesday night.
Members of the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force say when they searched Apartment 3 at 140 Polk Street, they found 14 ounces of a liquid containing meth, meth-making materials and components, and several items of drug paraphernalia.
They executed the search warrant at around 11 p.m.
Two people, 54 year old Robert Dusharm Jr. and 46 year old Steven Hamm were each charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
Both men were arraigned in Watertown city court and sent to jail without bail.
Police say they are continuing to investigate and expected to file more charges and make more arrests.
The Task Force was assisted by the Watertown Police Road Patrol, K-9 and ID Units, state police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team, and the Watertown City Fire Department.
