Library Offers Computer Classes

Posted: Updated:

You can learn how to use a computer at any age even if you don't own one at home.

Senior citizens are learning how to use the Internet and anti-virus software through classes at the Carthage Free Library

Classes are held Monday nights and Wednesday mornings.

One woman says she has learned how to use paint and create calendars with pictures of her grandchildren,

"The class is very helpful. Well, of course it's nice to meet with other people. It's fun to keep up with what is going on in the Internet world," said Joanne Lackey, student.

The instructor says there is plenty of room in both classes; all you have to do is show up.
