A Heuvelton man has been indicted by a St. Lawrence County grand jury on four drug possession charges.
James Pike II is alleged to have possessed cocaine and heroin in the town of Hammond on September 4.
The 31-year-old man was arrested along with 33-year-old Erin Irvine of Ogdensburg during a traffic stop on State Route 37 in September.
A sheriff's K-9 unit alerted officers there might be drugs in the car. Sheriff's deputies said a search turned up 750 grams of cocaine, 120 grams of heroin, and more than $13,000 in cash.
Detectives at the time said they believed Pike and associates would travel to the New York City area and pick up drugs to distribute in Ogdensburg and Heuvelton.
