Sledding In Style At Carthage Winterfest

Riding through the snow in style. Homemade cardboard sleds raced down the hill at Carthage's Winterfest on Saturday. Winterfest was held at the village's recreation park.

We asked some participants from the cardboard sled race about the inspiration they got for their sled's theme.

"We did a duck. We did a duck, because it quacks," enthused Adelia and Alacia West, cardboard sled race participants.

Other Winterfest events include balloon animals, a frying pan toss and a magic show.
