Police Return To Scene Of Last Week's Ogdensburg Drug Bust

Posted: Updated:

Authorities were back at the scene Tuesday night of an alleged meth bust in Ogdensburg last week.

Viewers sent 7 News pictures of 605 Montgomery Street Tuesday night.

Neighbors say they saw a number of both Ogdensburg and state police cruisers at the property and by 9:30 p.m. a hazardous materials team was on-scene.

Police officials tell 7 News that two search warrants were executed in Ogdensburg, one for 605 Montgomery Street and another at 102 Ogden Street. Officials say Ogdensburg police, the St Lawrence County Drug Task Force, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations conducted the separate investigations.

There's no information so far on who was involved.

Last week there was a much larger police presence as authorities raided 605 Montgomery Street and found what they say was a one-pot meth lab along with some finished product.

The home's owner, 42 year old Jaret Langstaff, and four others were arrested and charged with making meth.
