A Dexter man faces several charges including menacing, assault, and unlawful imprisonment following a domestic incident Wednesday evening.
Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say 37 year old Ryan Kutil allegedly held a woman down twice, threatened her with a steak knife and a hammer, tried to throw the knife at her, bit her, hit her in the stomach, punched her in the face, and punched and broke a door.
Deputies say it happened at an apartment on Brown Street in Dexter.
Kutil was charged with two counts of second degree unlawful imprisonment, three counts of third-degree menacing, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, and third-degree criminal mischief.
He was arraigned in Clayton town court and sent to jail without bail.
