SkyWest airlines will begin flights out of Ogdensburg International Airport to Chicago-O’Hare and Washington-Dulles airports on May 3.
The United Express jet service flights will connect travelers with United hubs at the two airports.
SkyWest will fly 50-passenger jets out of Ogdensburg to Dulles each day at 9:30 a.m. and to O'Hare at 2:35 p.m. five days a week.
The air carrier was selected last month to provided subsidized Essential Air Service by the U.S. Department of Transportation to Ogdensburg and Massena.
SkyWest pulled out of the deal to provide service to Massena, because the airport won't accommodate its 50-passenger jets.
