Slowly Starting To Warm Up

Slowly Starting To Warm Up

Posted: Updated:

Friday -- like several days this week -- starts out cold, but it's going to end up a bit warmer.

Temperatures started in the single digits, but any breeze would make it feel as if it's below zero.

Highs will be in the upper-20s and there will be plenty of sunshine.

People heading toward Syracuse could run into some lake effect snow. There's a winter weather advisory for Oswego County until 9 a.m.

Some of that snow could overlap into southern Jefferson and Lewis counties.

It will be sunny and in the mid-30s for Saturday.

Daylight Saving Time starts at 2 a.m. Sunday, so don't forget to set your clocks an hour ahead.

Sunday could be a wild ride. There could be some mixed precipitation late Saturday and early Sunday, but that will change to all rain. Rain will be off and on and it will be very windy.

There's a high wind watch from 1 a.m. Sunday to 2 a.m. on Monday. Gusts could be as high as 50 miles per hour.

Sunday's highs will be in the mid-40s.

There's a chance of snow on Monday and we'll have sunshine for Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the 30s all three days.

It will be around 45 and rainy on Thursday.
