A 30 year old Gouverneur woman is accused of attacking a state trooper and trying to bite a police officer.
Gouverneur police say Nicole Cash became disorderly and created a disturbance after they stopped her on East Main Street for a defective taillight.
Police say she started screaming and yelling profanities, tried to bite an officer, and scratched and kicked a trooper, who suffered cuts to his face.
Cash was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree harassment, resisting arrest, and second-degree assault.
She was arraigned in Gouverneur town court and released under probation supervision.
