It looks like Watertown lawmakers have made a decision on where to put a second city courtroom.
It appears the new courtroom will go on the first floor next to where the current courtroom is.
To make it happen, the codes department will have to move upstairs at city hall.
The project will cost between $4 million and $4.5 million.
The construction of a second courtroom has been looming over the city for a couple of years now.
The state mandates that each city judge must have their own courtroom.
Monday, the judge who oversees this judicial district was in Watertown to demand that the city build a new courtroom soon.
We will have more on the decision on 7 News at 10 and 11 p.m.
