An Ogdensburg woman has been charged with making meth.
Ogdensburg police say they arrested 35 year old Jade Vernsey after they executed a search warrant at 802 Lafayette Street Sunday night.
Police say they found meth-making components and materials.
Vernsey was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
She was arraigned in city court this morning and held in St. Lawrence County jail without bail.
Police say they continue to investigate and could make more arrests.
They were assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, state police, Gouverneur village police, the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, United States Homeland Security Investigations, and the state police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team.
