4 Arrested Friday Night at Meth Bust in Ogdensburg

Four people were arrested and charged after a meth bust Friday night in the city of Ogdensburg.

Ogdensburg Police said authorities executed a search warrant at the 106 Gates Street around 11 p.m. where they found multiple "one pot" meth labs as well as other meth making materials. 

Those who were arrested and charged are:

Paul S. Smith II, age 38, of 106 Gates Street Ogdensburg, New York
- Unlawful manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree (“D” Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (“A” Misd) (2- counts)

Casey L. Sharlow, age 28, of 106 Gates Street Ogdensburg, New York
- Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine 3rd Degree (“D” Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (“A” Misd)

Patrick J. Kennedy, age 37, 411 Main Street Ogdensburg, New York
- Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine 3rd Degree (“D” Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (“A” Misd)

Dustin M. Dean, age 32, 808 New York Avenue Ogdensburg, New York
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (“A” Misd)

Smith is being held without bail. Sharlow's bail was set at $10,000, Kennedy's was set at $5,000 Dean was released on an appearance ticket.

Ogdensburg Police said they are still investigating and more arrests are possible.

The Ogdensburg Narcotic Unit was assisted by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, New York State Police, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Response Team.
