Pancake Breakfast Supports Salvation Army Projects
Pancakes for a cause. That's what the Salvation Army in Watertown focused on Sunday with their Semi Annual Pancake Breakfast.
Families were served a breakfast consisting of pancakes, sausage and French toast. People of all ages came to support the organization - some getting a bit more sticky than others.
Event organizers say that the money raised will go to almost every program offered by the Salvation Army.
"It benefits our budget and for all the programs we put on throughout the year. Whether it's kids programs throughout the summer. Whether its the soup kitchen. Whether its the Christmas program we have, Toys for Tots for the children,"said Salvation Army Board Member, David Daily.
Live music also accompanied the breakfast while more than 15 volunteers served attendees.
