A drug raid in Ogdensburg ended with a man accused of possessing heroin.

Ogdensburg police say they and other law enforcement officers executed a search warrant Monday at 704 State Street, where they allegedly found a quantity of heroin.

As a result, 28 year old Matthew Pearson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Pearson was arraigned in city court and ordered held on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.

The Ogdensburg Narcotics Enforcement Unit was assisted by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, the Gouverneur Police Department, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the Ogdensburg Police K9 Unit.

Police say more arrests are possible as they continue their investigation.
