A Watertown family is reunited with a teddy bear that holds a lot of meaning.
The bear went missing from the Bowen family about a month ago. It turned up at a friend's house.
It's not just any stuffed animal. The bear contains some ashes of Krysten Bowen's late son, Preston, who passed away in 2014 at just 2 months old.
Preston had a serious heart condition. Bowen had the bear made for her kids to remember their brother.
"He kind of represents Preston in our home in a way," Bowen said. "He's something extra special, just a part of our family. He's back where he belongs."
Now that the bear has returned, Bowen says the kids will continue to take it places, but will be more careful to hang onto it.
