A pilot from Malone was rushed to a hospital after crashing his small plane in Oswego County Thursday.
The plane crashed in a city of Fulton neighborhood around 3:30 p.m.
Local agencies and federal aviation officials investigated the scene near Fourth Street.
WSYR-TV in Syracuse reports the pilot is 50 year old Michael Simpson of Malone.
He was taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse for treatment of what was described as non-life-threatening injuries.
People in the neighborhood say the crash was quite a shock.
"I was up at my son's place working on the car, the next thing I know I hear a loud bang, power lines moving, looked down here and that's where the airplane set in the middle of the road," Donald Roy Hamilton Sr. said.
Fulton police say they believe Simpson's plane lost power.
