Hotline & Registry Set Up For Army Housing Problems

Posted: Updated:

You've heard about problems with mold and vermin in military housing. Now the Army has set up a phone number to handle reports of housing problems.

The Military Times reports a hotline and registry will give families a place to report health-related concerns with their housing.

Eventually, there will be a database, a place where families can find out if there have been problems with housing on a particular base.

Earlier this year, families complained to Congress about mold and fungus growth in housing, and about vermin like mice and rats.

The number to call is 800-984-8523.
