Port of Ogdensburg Sees Largest Wind Blades Ever

Posted: Updated:

The shipping season opens with a bang at the Port of Ogdensburg.

Huge wind turbine blades arrived on one of the first ships of the season Wednesday.

These are the largest blades ever shipped through the Port of Ogdensburg – 225 feet in length.

That's 50 feet longer than blades unloaded last year.

Two more ships are expected in this shipment of wind turbine blades. 2018 was a record-setting year for the port.
