Man Suffers Minor Injuries In Alexandria Fire

Posted: Updated:

State police spent the day investigating a fire at a town of Alexandria home.

The fire was at 41250 Bearup Road.

According to the Alexandria Bay Fire Department's Facebook page, the call came in at 5 a.m. to help the Plessis Fire Department.

It was first reported as a fire with someone trapped inside.

When firefighters got there, no smoke or flames could be seen, and a man was brought out with only minor injuries.

When we were there, we could see state police vehicles and gear normally associated with drug investigations being deployed.

There's no word from state police Tuesday evening on what - if anything - their investigation turned up.
