As water creeps up on shores and on the docks, Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River communities continue to brace for the impact.
The pictures show what the water looked like at the docks in Alexandria Bay on Sunday.
The Army Corps of Engineers is projecting the lake's water level to rise seven inches by June 10, giving many people feelings of deja vu of 2017's flooding.
Some docks in Alexandria Bay already have barrels on them to help mark and secure them. They're marked with an "X."
In the past, the Coast Guard has asked people to do that so they know what the barrel is for if it floats away.
