Blakeman rally canceled Sunday in Watertown

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Bruce Blakeman cancels his Watertown rally Sunday.

No further details were given as to why the GOP nominee in NY’s Governor’s race called off the visit.

The cancelation comes as news swirls about a potential visit by the United States Vice President JD Vance to Upstate New York. Ogdensburg has been floated as one possible location, as have other locations in Oneida, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties.

Local republicans are now thinking a Blakeman visit could coincide with the VP visit, but admit they are in the dark when it comes to when and where or if that’ll happen at all.
